What is Snus and White Snus?

Snus is a small pouch containing either tobacco or plant fibres infused nicotine that release nicotine. Traditional Snus is made with tobacco, and White Snus is 99% tobacco-free.

How do you use Snus and White Snus?

Take a pouch and tuck it inside your upper lip. Nicotine will begin to release once it’s exposed to your saliva through your upper gums

How long does it take to work?

It varies by user, but usually you can start to feel the effects of nicotine within 30 seconds.

How much nicotine is in Siberia?

Siberia White Snus (99% tobacco-free) features 11mg of nicotine per pouch.
Siberia Traditional Snus offers from 22mg up to 43 mg of nicotine per pouch, depending on pouch size (Slim to Regular).

How long can I keep it in my mouth?

Even though Siberia White Snus has shown to release sustained nicotine for over 60 minutes, users commonly keep a pouch in their mouth for 20-30 minutes.

Do I spit?

You do not need to spit when using snus. Unlike chewing tobacco that sits in the bottom of your mouth, collecting saliva, Snus sits up top under your upper lip and no spitting is required.

What do I do when I’m finished with my Snus or White Snus pouch?

You may dispose of your Snus in the organic bin if using Traditional Snus, otherwise dispose of White Snus in the garbage. Please do not litter.

What’s the difference between Snus and chewing tobacco?

Snus is steam-cleaned, and heat treated while chewing tobacco is fermented. Chewing tobacco is absorbed by saliva into the digestive system delivering a slow, rounded nicotine effect. Snus is absorbed through the gums into the bloodstream quickly delivering a fast, intense nicotine experience.

Why do some pouches have colourful packaging and Siberia does not?

Siberia Traditional Snus and White Snus feature tobacco, and therefore falls under the Tobacco Act regulations of Canada. Our packaging and communications are subject to these regulations. Other products that have branding and colours do not have any tobacco, and therefore have to adhere to a max nicotine content of 4mg per pouch. (Siberia is 11mg per pouch)

Where is Siberia made?

Siberia pouches are made in Enköping, Sweden.

Do I need to keep Siberia Snus and White Snus in the fridge?

Is Snus less harmful than smoking?

If you are a smoker and are concerned about the risks of continuing smoking, the best option is to quit smoking.
Snus and White Snus provide adults a smoke-free and vapour-free alternative to consume nicotine. Snus and White Snus are not risk-free.

Why is the packaging so scary?

Due to the regulations set out in the Tobacco and Vaping Products Act all products containing any amount of tobacco are required to follow a scheduled labelling calendar provided by the Government.

Why does this cost more than other pouches?

All Siberia products are considered tobacco products therefore they are required to have an Excise Stamp affixed to all product packaging. This Excise Stamp is considered ‘duty’ and is required to be paid by all those who purchase tobacco products in Canada.

Is there a step-down method with Siberia products?
